Old Trinity Church - Part 1

It seems we keep on writing about the good people of the Eastern Shore of Maryland. There's no question that the faire shores of this gentle country are populated with courteous and kind individuals. Early Friday afternoon the SWSers started to leave port with Shorebird in the lead.  After some great sailing around McKell Point, down Fishing Creek and then a right turn onto Church Creek and on down that pretty creek, Jake radioed that he found the Old Trinity Church Pier, our planned destination.  In the picture is a Bay Hen, a Sea Pearl, a Dovekie, A MacGregor and, on the other side of the pier, a Shearwater .
Norm & Diana arrive to walk the church grounds
We thank Mr.Crump for the pier

It was a hot afternoon and so it was nice to get off and stroll around the church under the shade of its large old trees.
